Team India is now scheduled to play a 3-day warm-up game in England before the all-important 5-match Test series begins in August. According to a report by ANI, BCCI sources have confirmed that Team India will play their warm-up game from 20th July instead of the 2 Intra-squad practice matches. After the World Test Championship final which India lost to New Zealand, Skipper Virat Kohli outlined the need to play practice games before the Test series. ANi report states that BCCI had put in a request with the English board which was accepted immediately.
