Matrimonial ads and feminists don't gel. But a matrimonial ad put up by an "opinionated feminists" has gone viral and has also riled up patriarchy.
The ad in a newspaper matrimonial section, shared by comedian Aditi Mittal, reads: "Match for opinionated feminist, 30+ educated girl, short hair, piercings, works in social sector against capitalism." It then goesn on to describe the potential match: "Wanted handsome, well built, strictly 25-28 year old only son with established business, bungalow/at least 20 acre farm house and should know cooking." And ends with a "No farters/burpers please.
The ad has given an email address - curdyourpatriarchy@gmail.com for the potential suitors to contact. Aditi Mittal shared it on Twitter asking if someone had put it out on her behalf
