Virgin Galactic's mission to take tourists into space is reportedly getting closer, with CNBC reporting that an FCC filing says the firm will conduct the first of its last two crewed SpaceShipTwo tests on October 22.
The mission will have two test pilots aboard, that will take off aboard the vehicle from Spaceport America in New Mexico. Virgin Galactic hopes to fly company founder Sir Richard Branson into space by sometime in the first quarter of 2021.
