India's new ODI skipper Rohit Sharma on Thursday heaped praise on Virat Kohli and said that the latter's 'leadership skills are very much required' in the Team. Rohit Sharma who has been recently appointed as the T20I skipper of the national team after Kohli gave up captainship, has replaced him as the captain in the ODI format as well.
A batter of his quality is always needed in the squad. To have an average of 50+ in the T20 format is crazy and unreal, Sharma said on a Youtube show with Backstage with Boria while praising the 33-year-old's skills.

The new captain also spoke about his role and said that he feels that the skipper is the least important person in the Team and his work is only 20% on the field and 80 off it.
