Taliban guards were seen beating women sticks on the streets of Kabul on Tuesday. The women were part of a massive rally against Pakistan.

Amid chants demanding 'freedom', hundreds of Afghans, mostly led by women, marched in the capital raising slogans against Pakistan for conducting airstrikes in Panjshir to help the Taliban.

Protesters also carried posters in support of Panjshir and the resistance forces.

Videos from Kabul also show Taliban firing in the air to disperse the crowd but the protesters persisted and walked to the Pakistani embassy asking the staff to leave Afghanistan.

Several women protesters were also  stranded in a car park following the crackdown by the Taliban

Multiple media outlets who were on the ground reported that the Taliban was not allowing their journalists to cover the protest and had even taken away their cameras.

TOLO news reported that their video journalist Wahid Ahmadi had been detained while covering the protest. Ahmadi was later released.
