Verstappen wins the US GP, extends his championship lead against Lewis Hamilton

Max Verstappen won the US Grand Prix as he came on top of the duel with the championship rival Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen now leads the title race with twelve points to Hamilton. The British racer got the lead as the lights went out in Austin. Verstappen then managed to undercut the seven-time champion twice during the pit stops and maintained his lead till the end of the race.

Max’s teammate Sergio Perez took third place on the podium, while the Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc held off to his P4 after a brilliant drive throughout the race. Daniel Ricciardo gained a position finishing fifth in the end.
