US President Donald Trump and his challenger Joe Biden squared off in the final debate before the November 3 elections. Trump claimed again that a vaccine against Covid is coming within weeks and a distribution plan is in place. Biden hit out at Trump over his handling of the pandemic, saying the US is heading into a dark winter because of Trump's mishandling of the crisis. The two also clashed over the "close down" versus "open up" strategy to combat coronavirus.
