As the deadly novel coronavirus claims more and more lives across the country, the dead have no place to rest.

Several bodies washed up on the banks of the Ganga river in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur sparking fears of the further spread of the virus.

It is suspected that the bodies belong to Covid-19 patients and that their relatives let the bodies float away in the river due to lack of space at crematoriums.

The spot is around 55 kms upriver from the the place in Bihar's Buxar where hundreds of bloated bodies were found floating in the river on Monday.
