India reported 43,733 new Covid-19 cases and 930 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday. This comes a day after India recorded 34,703 new Covid infections in 24 hours period, marking the lowest spike of daily cases in 111 days,
India's active caseload has however fallen below 5 lakhs and is currently at 4,59,920
47,240 patients have recovered from Covid during the last 24 hours. Recovery rate has increased to 97.18%
In the north eastern states the pandemic has become a cause of concern as over 10 per cent positivity rate in as many as 45 districts has been reported.
