Union Minister accuses Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of 'insulting' the national flag

Union Minister Prahlad Patel on accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of disrespecting the national flag. Patel claimed the green stripes in the flags displayed behind Kejriwal during the video conferences were distorted and enlarged, and the white central stripes reduced. He said the incorrectly-sized stripes on the national flag were violations of the Flag Code of India and has written to the centre and the Lieutenant Governor to demand immediate correction.

In the last few weeks, Kejriwal who has been critical of the centre’s handling of the pandemic, held several video conferences to update people on the Covid-19 situation in the state and announce welfare programs.
