Two athletes have tested positive for coronavirus in the Tokyo Olympic Village, officials said on Sunday, just days before the pandemic-delayed Games open on July 23.
This is the third Covid case and first among athletes at the Olympic Village after a 'games-concerned personnel' tested positive on Friday.

The Tokyo Games are already facing strong opposition over concerns that they will lead to an increase in Covid-19 cases in Japan.
The Olympic Village, a complex of apartments and dining areas, will house 6,700 athletes and officials at its peak when the 2020 Games begin.
