Twitter has yet again paused their process for public submissions for account verification, or a blue tick as it is popularly known. This comes after the website admitted it had wrongly verified several fake accounts.

Twitter will not be accepting new submissions for verification, but it will process the applications of people who have already applied for a blue tick.
