Taliban co-founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar arrived in Kabul on Saturday for talks with fellow members of the group and other politicians on establishing a new government in Afghanistan.
Baradar arrived in Afghanistan on Tuesday from Qatar, choosing to touch down in the country's second-biggest city Kandahar -- the Taliban's spiritual birthplace.
Soon after his arrival, the Taliban had declared a general amnesty and announced that their rule will different this time.
On August 15, Baradar had issued a video statement saying that the group will 'day by day get into the service of the nation' and that the victory over Afghan govt shouldn't make the fighters arrogant.
