Indian boxer Vikas Krishnan who had an upsetting Tokyo outing has undergone surgery to fix his dislocated right shoulder and will now remain out of action for the next three months.
The 29-year-old boxer who was competing in his 3rd Olympics suffered an opening-round loss against Japan's Sewon Okazawa after 'fighting with one hand'.

After his successful surgery, the Haryana based boxer informed that his shoulder was dislocated and a crucial muscle and ligament was torn. He had picked up the injury during his training in Italy before Olympics started.
