World number 1 archer from India, Deepika Kumari earned a hard-fought 6-4 win vs Jennifer Fernandez of USA, to enter pre-quartes of Women's Individual event at the Tokyo Olympics.
Earlier in the day, Deepika Kumari managed difficult wind conditions at the range in Tokyo to to comfortably beat Bhutan’s Karma in her opening round match.
In Men's individual competition, Pravin Jadhav was knocked out by World No. 1 Brady Ellison 0-6 in 2nd round.
