All above 18 years of age can register for their Covid vaccine shot from Saturday, April 24, on the CoWin platform. All adults are now eligible for vaccination from May 1.
Registrations for the latest round of inoculations will open in the next 48 hours on the CoWin platform, RS Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority, said on Thursday.
Amid an alarming surge in infections, the government has opened Covid vaccinations to all adults for the first time.
According to the new vaccine rules, states and private entities can buy vaccines directly for inoculations.
