This is the next startup on Tata's shopping list

Tata Groups's appetite for startup shopping did not end with BigBasket, 1mg & CureFit reports indicate the salt to software conglomerate is now looking at scooping up hyperlocal delivery start up Dunzo.

As per reports in Deal Street the  potential deal may value the six-year-old company at $150-200 million. 

Backed by Google, Duzno is a tech platform for essentials and groceries which has been a big push in growth due to the pandemic with a 300% jump in medicine and grocery sales in the last quarter itself. Duzno has also been making headlines as it piloting a project to conduct experimental drone delivery flights for the 'Medicine from the Sky Project'.

Dunzo was launched in 2015 by Kabeer Biswas, Ankur Agarwal, Dalvir Suri and Mukund Jha.
