To mark World Tuberculosis Day, on the 24th of March, internationally acclaimed sand artist Manas Sahoo has created an artwork at Odisha's Puri Beach.
The sand art reads 'the clock is ticking' which is the theme for this year, set by the World Health Organisation. It aims to raise awareness about the fact that the world is running out of time to tackle the illness.
According to WHO, every day, nearly 4000 people lose their lives to TB and close to 28,000 people fall ill with the disease.
