As per reports Tesla India official met Secretary, Road Transport & Highways Ministry and after the meeting secretary sat in the Tesla Model 3 and went for a small drive with Tesla representative
The Elon Musk backed EV maker is working towards debuting in India by this year, in fact, the company already has registered its business in India under the name Tesla India Motors and Energy Pvt. Ltd but has been hoping to get a tax cut before importing the expensive ride into the subcontinent.
