The affordable Redmi A1+ has been launched by Xiaomi.
The Redmi A1+ is priced starting at ₹6,999 for the base 2GB RAM + 32GB storage option. The phone is also available in a 3GB + 32GB variant for ₹7,999.
It is available in Black, Light Blue, and Light Green. Starting October 17 at 12 PM, the handset will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home shops, and Xiaomi's retail partners.
The Redmi A1+ runs Android 12 Go Edition and has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 60Hz, a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The display has a waterdrop-style notch and covers 70 percent of the NTSC colour spectrum. The new Redmi phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, up to 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The Redmi A1+ includes a dual rear-camera setup with an 8MP main sensor. The phone has a 5MP selfie camera sensor on the front for photos and video chats.
The Redmi A1+ has 32GB of internal storage and can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 512MB) through a dedicated slot.
It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and a 3.5mm audio port for connectivity. The phone includes an accelerometer and a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
