Vivo has quietly introduced its new affordable smartphone, the Vivo Y16, to the Indian market.
The only edition of the Vivo Y16 4G with 4GB RAM is priced at ₹12,499.
The smartphone brand has released the device in both gold and black hues.
The smartphone has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
There is a waterdrop-shaped cutout for the front camera at the top.
The device's dual rear camera consists of a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.
Additionally, it includes a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Y16 is equipped with a rather outdated MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.
Additionally, the device supports 1GB of Extended RAM. The Vivo Y16 ships with Android 12 preinstalled with Funtouch OS 12 on top.
It has a 5,000mAh battery and a USB Type-C connection that supports 10W charging.
