Oppo has announced the launch of the F21s series in India on September 15th. It will most likely consist of the Oppo F21s and the F21s Pro.

The company has also teased that the F21s Pro will come with a segment-first microlens camera.

This sensor can be the one that debuted on the Find X3 Pro in 2021 and can provide up to 60x hybrid magnification.

On the Oppo F21 Pro, the microlens is also surrounded by Orbit Light which is needed to properly light an area when taking photos or videos with a microscope-level magnification.

The Orbit light will also let users know when calls or app alerts come in.

The microlens camera works with the main camera which is rumoured to have a 64MP resolution. The back of the Oppo F21s Pro will have the Oppo Glow Design, and the company says that the glass on the back cover is resistant to scratches and water.

At least two colours, Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black, have been confirmed for the Oppo F21s Pro.

Other specifications of the smartphones have not yet been revealed. But since the F21s series succeeds the F21 series, we expect these phones to be positioned in the mid-range category.
