In a recent online shopping mishap, a Reddit user from the United Kingdom ordered an iPhone 15 Pro directly from the official Apple UK website.

However, upon receiving the package and unboxing it, the customer's excitement turned to dismay as they discovered something unexpected inside.

Counterfeit Product Received

Despite the genuine appearance of the iPhone 15 Pro's retail packaging, theEdmard found a counterfeit Android phone inside.

The first giveaway was the presence of a pre-installed screen protector, raising suspicion right from the initial unboxing.

As the user proceeded to set up the device, further clues emerged, ultimately confirming the device as a low-quality Android clone.

Issues with the device included a display that did not exhibit OLED characteristics, improper bezels, glitchy performance, and pre-installed Android apps such as Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

Moreover, the device appeared to be used, as indicated by the battery settings - an unexpected and troubling revelation for the customer.

Delivery Mystery

Seeking accountability, the user initially suspected foul play by the delivery agent in swapping the original iPhone with the fake device.

However, the delivery partner, DPD, stated that the box was properly sealed and had not been tampered with.

Remarkably, the delivery package even bore the same tracking number as provided by Apple, adding further intrigue to the perplexing situation.

Currently, the user is in communication with Apple, endeavouring to uncover the source of the mix-up and seeking a resolution.
