OnePlus has been experimenting with the tablet segment for a while, but the Pad Go 2 finally feels like a product built with purpose. The screen is bigger, the software finally treats the display properly, and stylus support has arrived. This is a clear upgrade instead of another safe refresh.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Unboxing: Clean, Predictable, Very OnePlus

The unboxing feels exactly like what you expect from OnePlus. The red and white box is neat and minimal and everything inside is arranged with the same familiar discipline. You get the Pad Go 2 in the 8 GB and 256 GB Wi Fi trim, a 45 W SuperVOOC charger, a Type A to Type C cable and the usual stack of papers nobody touches. There is still no stylus inside. OnePlus finally supports one, but you will need to pay extra. That is just the current state of accessories.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Design: Cleaner, Softer, Grown Up

The first Pad Go had personality but it was loud. The Pad Go 2 feels calmer and more mature. The frame has a smoother flow, the back looks cleaner and the overall shape feels easier on the eyes. Shadow Black is the safe option, while Lavender Drift has a soft pastel vibe that looks surprisingly premium. It is light, balanced and does not give off budget tablet energy.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Display: This Is the Real Upgrade
The jump to a 12.1 inch 2.8K panel changes the experience right away. The extra size gives video, apps and even the UI more breathing room. If you thought the old Pad Go’s display was fine, this one quickly shows you how much you were compromising.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Software: Not an Afterthought

OxygenOS 16 on Android 16 finally feels like it knows it is running on a tablet. The highlight here is Open Canvas. It lets you move apps around, keep windows floating and use split screen without fighting with the layout. It feels like proper tablet software rather than a stretched phone interface.

Stylus Support: Finally Here, But…

The Pad Go 2 can work with the OnePlus Stylo, so writing notes, sketching and marking documents is all supported. The catch is simple. The stylus does not come in the box. If productivity is your plan, add that extra cost to your budget.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Connectivity: Here’s the Annoying Bit

OnePlus has added 5G, but there is a condition. Only the 256 GB Shadow Black variant gets it. If you want Lavender Drift with cellular support, there is no option, which feels unnecessarily restrictive.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Performance & Battery: Everyday Comfort

The tablet runs on the Dimensity 7300 Ultra with 8 GB RAM. It delivers the kind of performance you expect from a mid range tablet and stays consistent in regular use. The 10,050 mAh battery is a strong addition and comfortably supports long streaming sessions or casual gaming without effort.

OnePlus Pad Go 2: A Tablet With Intent

The Pad Go 2 gives the impression of a product that has genuinely grown. The bigger screen, improved multitasking, cleaner design, stylus support and optional 5G come together nicely. It feels like an Android tablet that knows its place and is confident in it.

Pricing arrives on December 17 and if OnePlus keeps it under twenty thousand rupees, this could easily become one of the few Android tablets people buy for more than basic online classes. A full review with stylus testing, battery torture and some questionable drawings is on the way.
