Samsung has opened pre-reservations for its upcoming Galaxy S24 series in India via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, and Amazon.

Customers can pre-book the devices for a token amount of ₹2,000 and will receive benefits worth ₹5,000, although Samsung has not disclosed details on these benefits.

The Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled on January 17, 2024, with sales commencing soon afterwards.

Galaxy S24 series specifications (expected)

The spotlight shines brightest on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display paired with a colour-matched S Pen stylus for an enhanced user experience.

The S24 Ultra may also boast a groundbreaking 200MP main camera as part of a multi-lens rear camera system, potentially accompanied by a new 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

Additional specs tipped for the premium S24 Ultra include a robust 5,000mAh battery and an ultra-durable titanium frame.

The more affordable Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models are expected to carry forward aluminium frames and a choice of trendy colours from their predecessors.

These devices could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 chipset depending on the market.

The S24 and S24 Plus may incorporate a 50MP main camera alongside 10MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP selfie cameras.

A 4,000mAh battery is rumoured for the S24, while the S24 Plus could house a 4,900mAh cell. Both are likely to offer swift charging capabilities.

Finally, the Galaxy Unpacked event's intriguing tagline “Galaxy AI is coming” strongly suggests incoming AI enhancements across the S24 range, heralding a transformation in intelligent performance.
