Samsung Galaxy S22 series price in India tipped: check expected price

Samsung is all set to launch the flagship Galaxy S22 series of smartphones in India. The Galaxy S22 series, which was unveiled on February 9 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 launch event, comprises the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones.

Galaxy S22 series price in India

A new report has tipped the expected price of the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in India. According to a report by IANS, the Galaxy S22 series could be priced between ₹75,000 to ₹1,10,000 in the country. IANS quotes industry sources as saying that Galaxy S22 series prices will not see a big jump over the S21 series.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S21 with a starting price of ₹69,999 in India, while the Galaxy S21+ cost ₹81,999. The Galaxy S21 Ultra launched with a price tag of ₹1,05,999 in the country.

Galaxy S22 series India availability

The Galaxy S22 series is up for pre-order in the country, as prospective customers can reserve a Galaxy S22 series smartphone by paying a token amount of ₹1,999. The same is also applicable for the Galaxy Tab S8 series in India. Customers who pre-reserve a device will also get a Galaxy Smart Tag worth ₹2,699 for free.

Samsung has recently confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series in India will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, rather than an Exynos chipset, which is the norm.
