Samsung has officially launched the next iteration of its fitness tracker lineup, the Galaxy Fit 3, at a price of ₹4,999 in India.
Sporting an aluminium build, the Galaxy Fit 3 offers a significant upgrade from its predecessor.
Available in grey, pink gold, and silver colour options, the fitness tracker aims to appeal to a wide range of users.
The Galaxy Fit 3 boasts a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, marking a 45% increase in width from its predecessor.
The fitness tracker also offers a diverse array of over 100 watch faces, allowing users to personalise their device with custom backgrounds or photos.
Among its standout features, the Galaxy Fit 3 includes heart rate and stress level monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) level tracking, sleep pattern and snoring sensors, and more than 100 workout modes.
The device also introduces a Sleep Coach feature, offering tailored insights to help users improve their sleep quality. Additionally, the fitness tracker is equipped with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, up to 5ATM, ensuring durability in various conditions.
In a bid to prioritise user safety, Samsung has integrated innovative functionalities into the Galaxy Fit 3.
These include fall detection and Emergency SOS features, providing users with the option to promptly call emergency services or send an SOS in case of an emergency.
Additionally, the fitness tracker can be utilized as a remote control for Galaxy smartphones, enabling users to manage various functions such as taking pictures, setting timers, and controlling media player settings.
With its refined design, enhanced display, and advanced functionalities, Samsung's latest fitness tracker aims to impress those who cannot afford a Wear OS powered Galaxy Watch.
