Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy F55 5G in India on May 17.
This smartphone will be the first from Samsung to sport a vegan leather back with a textured saddle stitch pattern.
The phone will be available in two colour options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.
While official pricing hasn't been revealed, teasers suggest the starting price for the Galaxy F55 5G will fall under Rs 25,000 in India
Leaks indicate the phone will come in three storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-end option with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The F55 is said to echo the recently-launched Galaxy M55 in terms of specifications.
Under the hood, the Galaxy F55 5G is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
The phone will likely boast a Full HD+ display with a centred punch-hole notch for the front-facing camera. Leaks suggest the phone will run the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.
The rear of the phone will likely house a triple-camera setup with a distinctive golden accent around the lenses.
Specific details about the camera sensors are yet to be confirmed, but rumours suggest the main sensor might be a 50MP unit.
