Samsung is gearing up to release its latest wireless earbuds, which are reported to be called the Galaxy Buds FE.
The Galaxy Buds FE is expected to be launched alongside the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet series later this year.
A recent spotting by GalaxyClub reveals some details about the Galaxy Buds FE ahead of its official launch.
The wireless earbuds will sport a similar case design to that of the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, featuring a rounded square shape and a USB Type-C port.
Notably, the Galaxy Buds FE will feature wingtips, similar to the ones found on the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+. This design element is intended to provide a more stable and secure fit in the ears.
The case of the Galaxy Buds FE is shown in white, indicating that this colour variant will be available.
The case features charging and battery indicator LEDs, both inside and outside, charging contacts for the earbuds, and an easy-to-use indent for opening.
It boasts a glossy finish, reminiscent of the Galaxy Buds 2, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro comes with a matte finish.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Buds FE will feature four microphones in total, with two on each earbud.
Additionally, they will include a wear detection sensor and silicone ear tips for added comfort. The earbuds will come with two wingtip sizes: S/M and M/L.
However, it remains unclear whether the Galaxy Buds FE will support wireless charging or advanced features like the Samsung Seamless Codec Hi-Fi.
Expectations for the Galaxy Buds FE include a dual-driver setup, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and support for the AAC and Samsung Seamless audio codecs. Given Samsung's track record, it is highly likely that the earbuds will also offer some level of water resistance.
