OnePlus 12 launched with wireless charging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset: Check price, availability

OnePlus has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in China, with global markets, including India, slated for an early next year release. 

The device boasts cutting-edge features such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, wireless charging, and a periscope telephoto lens.

The OnePlus 12's price in China starts at CNY 4,299 (approximately ₹50,600) for the base model, equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The device comes in green, black, and white colour options and is set to go on sale in China on December 11, with a global launch expected early next year.

The OnePlus 12 is equipped with a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED LTPO display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, setting a new standard for smartphone displays. 

The flagship model is the first domestic 2K display to receive the highest level of DisplayMate A+ certification. 

It also features Dolby Vision, 10 Bit Colour Depth, ProXDR, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, and ‘Rain Touch’ support. Running on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the phone offers up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12 sports a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope lens with 3x telephoto zoom, along with a 32MP front camera. 

The device houses a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. Notably, wireless charging returns to OnePlus’ flagship lineup. 

The smartphone also comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity.
