OnePlus has recently unveiled key specifications of its much-anticipated OnePlus 12 smartphone, building up to a reveal of the device's camera capabilities on November 9.

The company's latest teaser hints at an emphasis on improved zoom functionality and a triple rear camera setup, generating significant buzz among tech enthusiasts.

Camera Specifications

Leaked information suggests that the OnePlus 12 will boast a powerful camera suite, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an impressive f/1.7 aperture.

The device's rear camera setup is purported to also include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultrawide camera, alongside a 64-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto shooter, underscoring the phone's potential for exceptional photography and videography.

On the front, consumers can expect a substantial 32-megapixel front-facing camera, promising high-quality selfies and video calls.

Design and Display

In terms of design, the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to retain similarities with its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, with slim bezels encasing a punch-hole display design, achieving a seamless and modern aesthetic.

The handset is rumoured to house a 6.7-inch LTPO screen, potentially integrating OPPO's inaugural display chip, Display P1, with a high-precision pixel-level calibration algorithm for superior image quality, heightened brightness, and reduced power consumption.

Global Launch and Certification

While the official launch event is expected to be held in China, the global release, with markets such as India in focus, is likely to follow suit.

Furthermore, OnePlus has made claims regarding the smartphone obtaining DisplayMate A+ certification, indicating an exceptional visual experience with support for 2K resolution, although the exact display size remains undisclosed.

The device is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a detail that has already been confirmed by the company, further solidifying expectations of a high-performance flagship offering.
