Activision has announced in a blog post that a mobile version of the popular battle royale title, Call of Duty: Warzone, is in development. The blog post says that the “all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid and large-scale action of Call of Duty: Warzone to players on the go.”
Activision has also put out a hiring call for developers, producers, and artists, to join the game’s development team.

Android and iOS gamers have enjoyed Call of Duty: Mobile since its launch in October 2019, which has translated the multiplayer, battle royale, and zombies modes of the console and PC Call of Duty titles to a mobile screen. Call of Duty: Warzone, however, will be an entirely separate title.
Activision has not yet revealed when gamers can expect to play Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile, or which platforms the game will be available on.
