Meta, formerly Facebook, is adding two new features to its Meta Quest experience.
The first is Health Connect integration for Android users, which allows for syncing of workout data with Google Fit.
The second feature is the ability to pair Bluetooth heart rate monitors, allowing users to view their heart rate in real-time during their VR workouts.
The integration with Google's health API and heart rate monitor feature aim to make VR fitness more mainstream by consolidating data and providing more accurate measurements of exercise.
These two updates are expected to roll out soon.
