According to a new report, China-based display maker BOE will supply the display for the rumoured iPhone SE 4.

Despite some quality issues in the past, the budget iPhone is expected to use an older OLED design that BOE already has in inventory. The ongoing iPhone SE models feature LG and Samsung displays with LCD screens.

Apple’s in-house MicroLED startup is rumoured to take a few years before reaching large scale production.
