Multiple reports, including one from popular apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claim that the demand for the new iPhone 14 Plus has been worse than expected.

The iPhone 14 Plus has been a new addition to the iPhone lineup in 2022 and it indirectly replaced the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini from last year. However, Kuo claims that the demand for the Plus model is far lower than that of the already slow-selling iPhone 13 Mini.

The iPhone 14 Plus is a larger iPhone 14 with a bigger display and larger battery. In India, the Plus costs ₹10,000 more than the standard iPhone 14.

iPhone 14 Plus specifications

The screen on the iPhone 14 Plus is a 6.7-inch unit with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The most important thing is that it does not come with a new chipset. Instead, it uses the same A15 Bionic chip that was in the iPhone 13 Pro series.

The Plus has two cameras on the back, and the main one is a new 12MP one with a bigger sensor and a faster aperture. There is also an ultrawide camera and a new autofocus-capable 12MP TrueDepth camera for the front.

As before, none of the iPhone 14 models come with a bundled charger. Also, there is no USB-C here as Apple has decided to retain the outdated lightning port on these phones.

In India, the starting price of the iPhone 14 Plus is ₹89,900. It will go on sale on October 7, much later than the other three iPhone 14 models.
