Instagram is introducing new features to give users more control over what they see on the platform and to provide transparency tools for creators.

Users will be able to select an "Interested" button on recommended posts to see more of that type of content. This is in addition to personalisation controls that already include a "Not Interested" option and the ability to snooze recommendations.

Instagram is also testing a new tool for creators to understand why some Reels are not being distributed to non-followers.

Furthermore, Instagram is expanding transparency features to let users see if their account is eligible to appear in search or as a suggested account, and to appeal if it is not eligible.
