The eagerly anticipated official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 created a stir in the gaming world after being released ahead of schedule. 

Originally slated for a December 5 debut at 9AM ET, the trailer was made public 15 hours prior due to a leak. 

The unexpected revelation sparked tremendous excitement among fans, given that Grand Theft Auto 5 was launched back in September 2013, making the anticipation for its sequel even more palpable after a decade.

Vice City Returns!

The trailer provides an intriguing glimpse into the setting of GTA 6, showcasing Vice City, a fictionalised version of Miami. 

This new locale promises to add fresh dynamics to the gameplay and storyline, with players navigating through a vibrant and evocative virtual representation of the iconic city. 

Female Protagonist

The introduction of a female protagonist named Lucia adds an exciting new dimension to the game's narrative, with the trailer hinting at enthralling criminal escapades and fast-paced action involving classic GTA elements like cars, firearms, and daring escapades – reminiscent of the Bonnie and Clyde era.

Launch Timeline and Compatible Platforms 

Rockstar Games wasted no time in addressing the leak, swiftly uploading the authentic trailer on YouTube and urging fans to watch the official release. 

Within a mere four hours, the trailer amassed an impressive 29 million views on the popular video-sharing platform. 

Additionally, the release provided essential details, confirming that Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to hit the market in 2025, specifically designed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, with an exact release date anticipated to be announced closer to the launch.
