Google is reportedly working on a new feature for its Fast Pair service that would allow users to set up new Android phones with just a tap. The feature could debut on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the feature detects nearby devices that haven't been set up and shows a prompt on the current phone to begin the initial setup process. However, it is not yet clear if both the old and new devices will need to support the updated Fast Pair feature or not. Also, it is worth noting that this is not officially confirmed by Google or Samsung yet.
