Google I/O 2023: Google's first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold launched!

Google has announced the launch of its first-ever folding device, the Google Pixel Fold, at the Google I/O 2023 event. This device is significant for the future development of foldable phones since Google is the developer of the Android operating system. The price of the Pixel Fold is $1,799 in the US, but there is no word yet on when it will be available in India.

The Google Pixel Fold features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.8-inch outer display, both with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a 4,821mAh battery and has 30W fast charging support. The device also features a triple rear camera setup of 48MP+10.8MP+10.8MP and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Additionally, it runs on Android 13 and comes with Google's in-house Tensor G2 chip. With 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, this foldable device is a significant step forward in the development of foldable phones and is expected to revolutionise the smartphone industry.
