Dyson has officially introduced its first-ever headphones in India, named Dyson Zone. These headphones not only provide noise-cancelling features but also come with a unique air purification function.
The inclusion of this innovative feature sets the Dyson Zone apart from its competitors, especially Apple's AirPods Max. Let's take a closer look at the exciting features, specifications, and price of Dyson's new audio product.
The Dyson Zone headphones are priced similarly to Apple's flagship AirPods Max, starting at ₹59,900 in India.
For those seeking an enhanced experience, the Dyson Zone Absolute + model is also available, priced at ₹64,900.
With both models, customers will receive electrostatic carbon filters, a Visor Cleaning brush, a USB-C charging cable, and a Visor Sleeve.
The premium version includes two carbon filters for maximum air purification. Interested buyers can make their purchase through Dyson's official website or visit one of the Dyson Demo stores.
One of the standout features of the Dyson Zone headphones is the advanced noise-cancelling system. With a total of 11 microphones, eight of which are dedicated to enhancing active noise cancellation (ANC), users can experience unparalleled audio clarity.
The headphones also offer a transparency mode, allowing users to switch between music and ambient sounds when needed, ideal for outdoor use.
Additionally, when the air purification component is not attached, the Dyson Zone functions as a regular pair of high-quality headphones.
However, with the attachment of a removable visor, the headphones transform into an air purifier. The visor incorporates compressors to draw in surrounding air, which then undergoes a two-tier filtration process.
Finally, the purified air is directed towards the user's nose and mouth region, ensuring clean and fresh air supply.
The Dyson Zone headphones come equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for seamless pairing with compatible devices. For added convenience, the headphones also feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port for charging.
The built-in 2,600mAh lithium-ion battery boasts an impressive battery life of up to 50 hours for audio playback alone.
However, when the air purification functionality is utilised simultaneously, the battery life reduces to a maximum of four hours. Recharging the headphones to full capacity takes approximately three hours.
