Digital India Act to focus on AI regulation to prevent user harm

The upcoming Digital India Act will look at AI regulation through the prism of user harm, said the Minister of State for Electronics and IT.

He also said that India has its own set of challenges in the field of emerging technologies and that the government is working to address them.

The minister claimed that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of emerging technologies reach all Indians, and that it will not allow these technologies to be used for harmful purposes.
