LG unveiled a prototype of its transparent OLED TV, called the LG OLED T, at CES 2023.

The TV's screen can turn transparent, allowing viewers to see what is behind it. The TV is designed to be used in a room with a view behind it, such as a window, rather than on a wall.

In a demo video, LG showed how the TV could be used to watch a fireworks display through a window. The device can also display artwork or other imagery that disappears when the viewer wants to watch TV.

LG has not announced plans to sell the OLED T, stating it is meant to show "the direction where we're going."
