Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition launched at ₹3.59 lakh

The ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition has been launched in India. It is a premium gaming laptop by Asus.

As far as price goes, the newly released Asus laptop is priced at ₹3,59,990.

It will be available online at ASUS' e-shop, Amazon India, and Flipkart, and in stores at Asus Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and all Asus authorised dealers. The company hasn't said when it will be available just yet. 

ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition specifications

When it comes to specs and features, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition laptop has a 17.3-inch QHD IPS screen with Adaptive Sync and Dolby Vision. 

It also has a screen refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 3ms. It also has a unique cyberpunk look, with art on the metal body of the laptop that can't be seen. Asus says that when this invisible ink is shown under UV light, it will look blue and green.

The special edition laptop has a 12th-generation Core i9-12950HX processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU, up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 4800MHz RAM, and 4TB of PCle 4.0 SSD storage.

It has a backlit keyboard and a quad-speaker system that works with Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and AI noise cancellation in both directions.

On the connectivity side, it has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, a USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2, among other things.

It features a 90Whr battery which can fast charge to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes. 

The company is also bundling a bunch of ROG accessories with this laptop which includes a backpack, a gaming headset and a gaming house.
