Apple's recently revealed Vision Pro headset is already facing several challenges.

Firstly, a report suggests that the company could face a naming issue as Huawei has already trademarked the name "Vision Pro" in China, covering a range of devices including head-mounted virtual reality products.

Secondly, Apple is reportedly facing production issues and may only be able to ship around 400,000 units per year due to difficulty in obtaining the display panel required from Sony.

Apple had allegedly approached Sony to increase its production capacity, but the company refused. The number of units is even lower than previously estimated and is likely to result in shipping delays and shortages for customers.

The low sales numbers will also be a poor reflection on the product's performance, which was expected to revolutionize the industry.
