Apple outlines future plans as it celebrates 25 years in India

Apple is celebrating over 25 years in India with the opening of its first Apple Store locations in Mumbai and New Delhi.

The company claims that it is committed to being 100 percent carbon neutral for its supply chain and products by 2030. Moreover, the brand aims to use 100 percent recycled cobalt in all its Apple-designed batteries by 2025.

Apple also said in a statement that App Store payouts to developers in India have more than tripled since 2018.

The company also leads mobile exports in India, crossing a record $5 billion in exports.
