Apple Music is set to launch a new app, Apple Music Classical, on March 28, 2023.

The app was delayed from its original release date last year due to Apple's acquisition of Primestream, the music service it is based on.

Apple Music is still trying to gain ground on Spotify, the market leader in subscription music services, and catering to classical music fans is one way to set itself apart.

The app will be included with a standard Apple Music subscription and will stream at up to 192 kHz/24 bit hi-res lossless with accurate classical metadata.
