Amazon has introduced a new membership plan called Prime Lite priced at ₹999, which is a trimmed-down version of their regular Prime membership.

It offers free two-day delivery as well as limited access to Prime Video. However, users need to opt for a slightly more expensive standard plan to receive free one-day delivery service.

Prime Lite also provides free no-rush shipping to eligible addresses with a flat ₹25 cashback per order. Users having Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card can receive a flat 5 percent discount on all Amazon.in purchases and will also earn 2 percent cashback on other transactions.

The membership also includes access to Prime Video but has some limitations. Prime Lite members can only access Prime Video on two devices simultaneously and the resolution is limited to HD.

Unlike the regular Prime membership, Prime Lite does not include benefits such as access to Amazon Music, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, and Prime Advantage.

Customers can subscribe to the Prime Lite plan through Amazon’s official website or on an Android or iOS device. Additionally, Amazon also offers one-month and three-month Prime memberships priced at ₹299 and ₹599, respectively.
