Activision Blizzard violated US labour law by monitoring and threatening employees during a union organisation, says a federal labour agency. The National Labour Relations Board may file a complaint if no settlement is reached for employees in several states. The Communication Workers of America union accused Activision of illegal labour practices, including surveillance of video game testers during a strike for gender inequality. Activision defended its actions, citing toxic workplace behaviour but was found guilty of violating the law by the labour board. Another complaint from last year alleges Activision used a social media policy to restrict employee reporting.
