India may have failed to make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021, but the Men in Blue ended their campaign in style. By thrashing Namibia by 9 wickets, India bowed out with 3 consecutive wins.

Virat Kohli won the toss in his final T20I as captain and his decision to bowl first proved right. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja spun their web of destruction and picked 3 wickets each. However, 37 runs in the final 4 overs helped Namibia finish at 132/8.

In form pair of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul once again exploded. Rohit put the 'Hitman' mode on and smashed his 24th T20I half-century and 2nd of the T20 World Cup 2021. He was dismissed soon after but Rahul finished off the game with an unbeaten 54. Suryakumar Yadav too scored 25 not out as India crossed the finish line with 28 balls to spare. With that, Ravi Shastri's tenure as Team India coach also came to an end.
