After a humiliating 10-wicket loss against Pakistan, India suffered another blow with Hardik Pandya hurting his shoulder while batting in their opening World T20 match.

The Indian all-rounder did not come out to field against Pakistan and was replaced by Ishan Kishan. While the extent of his injury could not be established, BCCI's media team said that Pandya was hit on the right shoulder while batting and will be taken for precautionary scans to check the seriousness of the injury.
